What is endangered?
When an animal is endangered, it means that an animal is "in trouble" and has a very low number in population. Being endangered also means that an animal is really close to being extinct. It sometimes needs the help from humans, such as donations or limits on hunting. Some endangered animals are grey wolves, polar bears, snow leopards, Siberian tigers, white tigers, panda bears, and red pandas. There is also leather-back turtles, African elephants, Abaco horses, Amur leopards, Javan rhinoceros, and many more.
